Choose suitable equipment
Share package sizes, weights and any unusual cargo requirements. A container choice depends on fit, payload and handling as well as total volume. Confirm the appropriate equipment and loading arrangements before booking.
Dedicated container sea freight
Planning a dedicated container from China? Discuss full container load (FCL) sea freight with our Sydney team. We coordinate freight, customs clearance, warehousing and Australian delivery, with English and Mandarin communication. Tell us how the container will be loaded and how your cargo will be received.
FCL gives your shipment dedicated container space. Consider it when the volume, handling requirements or preference for a dedicated container make it suitable. You do not need to fill every cubic metre to request a comparison.
Compare the complete FCL and LCL quotations for the same cargo and endpoints. There is no universal volume threshold that makes one option best: route charges, loading, unloading and destination arrangements all matter.
Compare sea and air freightMissing a detail? Tell us what you know and what your supplier still needs to confirm.
Share package sizes, weights and any unusual cargo requirements. A container choice depends on fit, payload and handling as well as total volume. Confirm the appropriate equipment and loading arrangements before booking.
Discuss packing, securing the load and the supplier documents needed for export and Australian clearance. Tell us about timber packaging or other inspection requirements so these can be considered when arranging the shipment.
Confirm whether a container can be delivered to your premises or needs unpacking elsewhere. Discuss vehicle access, unloading equipment, receiving times and empty-container return. Ask which free-time limits and delay-related charges apply.
Ask which collection, container positioning, loading, export handling and documentation services are included. Share any arrangements your supplier has made.
Check ocean freight, port and destination handling, clearance coordination and the treatment of duties, taxes or inspection costs. Confirm the service, estimated schedule and quote validity.
Compare container transport, unpacking or storage and empty-container return. Ask how detention, demurrage, waiting time or other additional charges would be confirmed if they arise.
Provide the final packed dimensions, total weight and loading requirements. We can discuss equipment options; volume alone does not confirm that the load fits or is within permitted limits.
Ask about consolidation before container loading. Share each supplier’s location, packing details and ready date so collection and loading arrangements can be assessed together.
Availability depends on your postcode, site access, unloading arrangements and the selected service. If your premises cannot receive a container, discuss unpacking and onward delivery instead.
